 By the end of November, the total agriculture sector’s trade surplus value gained US$ 8.2 billion, of which, US$ 5 billion came from fisheries– a new record up to now, said the Agricultural Deputy Minister Vu Van Tam at the meeting of National Steering Committee on brackish water shrimp’s disease prevention.

 A delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade made a working visit to Indonesia on July 6 to bolster trade co-operation between the two countries as well as to prepare for the birth of ASEAN Community in 2015.

 According to Tien Giang provincial Department of Industry and Commerce, the province's six-month total exports gained US$621 million, fulfilling more than 53.1 per cent of the year’s target. It is striving to fetch US$1.17 billion in export value by the end of this year, and US$1.3 billion in the year to come.
